Sangüesa / Zangoza Patronal Festivals
Sangüesa / Zangoza holds its traditional festivals and fairs in honour of San Sebastián. Giants and big-head figures, pipers, bands, dance, bull runs and the Subidica and Bajadica to and from El Prau shape a week of strong community participation.

Tradition and venues
The opening rocket is fired from the Town Hall and festivities spread across Calle Mayor, Las Arcadas, La Galería, El Prau, Plaza de Santa Catalina, Palacio Vallesantoro and the church of Santiago.
Patron saint's day
12 September centres on the San Sebastián procession and High Mass, accompanied by the council, giant figures, pipers, the Rocamador dance group, txistularis and the municipal band.
A festival for every generation
Separate days celebrate the Merindad and Saint-Palais, older residents, children and fancy dress, alongside play areas, dances, jotas, evening balls and taurine events.
