Most Holy Christ of Mercy Patronal Festivities in Galapagar
Galapagar honours its patron with worship, a procession, peñas, bull runs, music, sport and family activities. Plaza de la Constitución and the town centre form the heart of a celebration combining devotion and community life.
When it is held
The main festivities take place around 14 September. The solemn Mass and procession of the Santísimo Cristo de las Mercedes are held that day, while tournaments and preliminary activities usually begin earlier.

Main venues
Nuestra Señora de la Asunción parish church hosts the religious services. The procession follows streets and squares in the centre; Plaza de la Constitución is the main music and gathering venue, while the bullring, Parque de El Toril, the sports centre and fairground complete the festival map.
