Fiesta de la Rosa del Azafrán celebrates La Mancha saffron-growing with folklore, flower-stripping contests, food and events at Consuegra's windmills.

Events take place in Plaza de España, Teatro Don Quijote, the Franciscan convent, Paseo Ramón y Cajal and on Cerro Calderico, particularly at Molino Rucio.

Events and traditions
Since 1963, the festival has brought together the proclamation of Dulcinea, traditional music groups, saffron-flower stripping contests, the Molienda de la Paz and the National Folklore Festival.

Consuegra Town Council and its tourism and culture teams coordinate the celebration with folklore groups and local organisations.
