Moraleja de Enmedio Santísimo Cristo de la Salud Festival 2026 programme

The cultural week and principal festivities run from Thursday 27 August to Tuesday 8 September 2026.

Notice: the programme may change. Some events require advance registration or use separate event posters; check the municipal booklet before attending.

Thursday 27 and Friday 28 August

  • Thursday 27, 19:00: Porraskana, with Peña El Porraskazo; conditions and venue are given on the separate event poster.
  • Friday 28, 22:00: third popular karaoke competition, Plaza de España.

Saturday 29 August

  • 10:00: mini Olympics, football ground.
  • 12:00: bells and placing the Santísimo Cristo de la Salud on its processional platform, San Millán parish church.
  • 17:00: peñas' seven-a-side football marathon, football ground; and tennis, padel and fronton marathon, La Dehesa Sports Complex.
  • 18:30: off-road motorcycle display, La Dehesa Sports Complex.
  • 22:00: Miss and Mister, King and Queen children's and youth competition, Plaza de España.
  • 00:00: DJ V “Viajando en el tiempo” session.

Sunday 30 August

  • 11:00: third Holi Run, accompanied by El Sapo brass band.
  • 12:00: Holi sangría and aperitif, Plaza de España.
  • 17:00: mud football tournament, municipal plot.
  • 22:00: performance and masterclass “Un recorrido por la música de los 80 hasta hoy”, Plaza de España.

Monday 31 August — Children's Day

  • From 11:00: open day at the municipal swimming pool.
  • 11:00-14:00 and 17:00-20:00: inflatables, municipal pool; 11:30: children's crafts, pool picnic area.
  • 17:00: first round of table games, Plaza de España.
  • 21:00: traditional games, face painting and children's temporary tattoos, Plaza de España.

Tuesday 1 September — Women's Day

  • 10:00: Zumba masterclass and healthy breakfast, Plaza de España.
  • 14:00: women's lunch with live entertainment, Restaurante Cachorro.
  • 17:00: second round of table games, Plaza de España.
  • 17:30: peñas' volleyball tournament, La Dehesa meadow.
  • 22:00: third Got Talent Moraleja de Enmedio, Plaza de España.

Wednesday 2 September — Older People's Day

  • 09:00: youth and adult pétanque, Parque Arroyo del Caño.
  • 10:00: futsal, municipal sports hall.
  • 14:00: older people's lunch, municipal pool picnic area.
  • 17:00: three-a-side basketball tournament, sports hall.
  • 22:00: Emilio 5.0 “Grandes éxitos latinos” tribute, Plaza de España.

Thursday 3 September — Youth Day

  • 09:00: second pétanque round, Parque Arroyo del Caño; 10:00: children's basketball, sports hall.
  • 19:30: Eucharist and solemn triduum in honour of the Santísimo Cristo, San Millán parish church.
  • 20:00: football match in honour of the Cristo, football ground.
  • 22:00: “Siente la vida bailando” dance display, Plaza de España; and local artists with Titotitef, municipal pool.
  • 00:00: Mora Bora, municipal pool, for people aged 16 and over.

Friday 4 September

  • 10:00: rapid-painting competition, Plaza de España.

  • 00:00: open-air dance with Orquesta Lapsvs, Plaza de España; and opening of the peñas' site.
  • 01:00: fireworks, roundabout beside the municipal swimming pool.

Sunday 6 September

  • 12:00: principal Mass in honour of the Santísimo Cristo, San Millán parish church.
  • 13:30: community aperitif and lemonade, Plaza de España.

  • 20:30: procession from San Millán parish church.
  • 21:30: open-air dance with Orquesta Genius, Plaza de España.

Monday 7 September

  • 10:00: Mass for the deceased, San Millán parish church; 10:30: soapbox-car competition from the El Cerro slope.
  • 12:00: children's bull event, Plaza de Madrid; 13:30: fried eggs with chorizo and lemonade, Plaza de España.
  • 19:00: traditional running and release of cattle, bullring.
  • 22:00: 1980s and 1990s DJ session; 23:30: community bingo, Plaza de España.
  • 00:00: peñas' site opens; 00:30: peñas meet with a brass band from Plaza de España.

Tuesday 8 September

  • 10:30: traditional running and release of cattle, bullring.
  • 12:30: foam party, Plaza de España.
  • 14:00: community stew and sangría, municipal pool picnic area.
  • 17:30: livestock drive; route on the separate event poster.
  • 20:00: release of heifers, bullring.
  • 22:00: pasodoble dance; 23:00: community bingo, Plaza de España.
  • 00:00: closing firecrackers, Plaza de la Fuente; 00:15: hot chocolate, Plaza de España.

Services during the festivities

The Punto Violeta support point operates at the peñas' site from 4 to 8 September, 00:00-04:00. The booklet prohibits glass containers in public streets and at the peñas' site.
