Fira de la Girella: programme 2026
Fira de la Girella celebrates Pyrenean food and pastoral culture, led by girella, a traditional lamb and rice speciality. The 2026 edition runs from 23 October and its main day is 25 October.

- The Vetlles de la Fira begin with cultural and family activities linked to shepherding life.
- Throughout the three days, participating establishments serve the Giretast combination of a girella croquette and a drink.
Fira de la Girella. Programme for Saturday 24 October 2026
- An afternoon of family activities, guided visits, children's shows and food events at several venues around the town.
- 19:00, Confraria de Sant Sebastià: La Girella Pim Pam cookery demonstration and tasting with chef Arnau París.
- 23:30: fireworks display, followed by a late-night celebration.

- Main fair day with an artisan market, traditional crafts, workshops, performances, tastings and children's activities throughout the town.
- Girella making and tasting, pairings and food activities devoted to the fair's signature speciality.
- Appointment of Teresa Dies Llovera as Majorala dels Pirineus, marking 150 years of the Fàbrica de Mantes.
