Valdemoro Our Lady of the Rosary Festival 2026 programme

The festivities run from Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 September 2026. Tuesday 8 is the principal day devoted to the patron.

Notice: the programme may change. Follow the organisers' instructions at bull runs, event venues and activities requiring registration. The council states that sexist aggression has no place at the festivities.

Friday 4 September

  • 17:30: Yeyé music performance, Residencia Nuestra Señora del Rosario, Calle Lili Álvarez, 3.
  • 20:00: travelling street parade with the peñas from Plaza de la Piña via Estrella de Elola, Cánovas del Castillo, Real and Infantas to Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 21:00: opening address by children's mayor Julia Moreno Romero, interpreted in sign language by Asociación Con Otra Mirada, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 21:15: opening rocket, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 21:30-02:30: Orquesta Jenasan, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 00:30-04:30: DJ at the municipal sports centre football pitches, Ronda del Prado, s/n.

Saturday 5 September

  • 10:00: open Pilates class with Vero Pilates, Parque Enrique Tierno Galván; no registration, bring a mat.
  • 10:30-12:00: bull run and release of three young bulls from Ermita del Santísimo Cristo de la Salud to the bullring.
  • 11:00: Yeyé music, Residencia El Balcón, Calle Haití, 2.
  • 12:00: English storytelling, Storytime: There's No Place Like Space, by Kids and Us, Calle Antonio Van de Pere, 41.
  • 12:00-15:00 and 17:00-20:00: children's inflatables at Calle Estrella de Elola, Parque Adolfo Suárez, Parque El Olivar beside Avenida de Europa, Parque de España and the outdoor pitches on Paseo del Prado.
  • 13:00-19:00: afternoon session with peñas, brass band and DJ, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 13:00-20:30: National Armwrestling League, Pabellón Juan Antonio Samaranch.
  • 14:00: community paella, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 17:30: Yeyé music, Residencia Casablanca, Calle Aragón, 2.
  • 22:30-02:30: Orquesta Cinema Paradiso, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 00:00-00:30: fireworks, Parque Enrique Tierno Galván.
  • 00:30-02:00: Bustamante at the municipal sports centre football pitches; afterwards until 04:30: DJ at the same venue.

Sunday 6 September

  • 09:30-10:30: hot chocolate and churros, bullring.
  • 10:30-12:00: bull run and release of three young bulls from Ermita del Santísimo Cristo de la Salud to the bullring.
  • 11:30: Yeyé music, Residencia Reto a la Esperanza, Camino Hondo, 100, Finca Las Arboledas.
  • 12:00-15:00 and 17:00-20:00: children's inflatables at Saturday's five neighbourhood venues.
  • 12:30-15:00: dance with orchestra and aperitif for older residents, Centro Municipal de Mayores; tickets available 1-4 September, 09:00-13:00.
  • 13:00-17:00: afternoon session with peñas, brass band and DJ, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 17:30: Yeyé music, Residencia Casablanca, Calle Aragón, 2.
  • 19:30: Rock en familia children's show, Plaza de la Constitución.

  • 12:00: High Mass, Nuestra Señora de la Asunción church.
  • 13:30: concert by the Guardia Civil Music Unit, Teatro Municipal Juan Prado, Calle Estrella de Elola, 27.
  • 13:00-19:00: afternoon session with peñas, brass band and DJ, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 19:45: solemn procession with band from Nuestra Señora de la Asunción church.
  • 22:30: Rebobinados, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 00:00: closing firecrackers, Plaza de la Constitución.

Special festival bus

On Friday 4, Saturday 5, Sunday 6 and Monday 7, buses run every 30 minutes from 23:30 to 04:45. The route starts at the sports complex on Paseo del Prado and serves Paseo del Prado, Paseo de la Estación, Avenida de Andalucía, Doctor Fleming, Guardia Civil, San Vicente de Paúl, Río Manzanares, Glorieta de las Avutardas, José María Pemán with Emilia Pardo Bazán, Espinillo, Ronda de las Comunidades, Avenida del Mar Mediterráneo, Parque Enrique Tierno Galván and returns to Paseo del Prado.
