Christ of the Nave Festival in Manzanares el Real
Manzanares el Real honours its patron with Mass, a procession and community gatherings in the town centre. The programme combines worship of the Cristo de la Nave with music, children's activities, sport and fireworks.
When it is held
The festival usually takes place over the second weekend in September, with its principal day on 14 September, when the solemn Mass and procession are held.

Main venues
Nuestra Señora de las Nieves church hosts the solemn Mass. The procession passes through the town centre and Plaza del Pueblo hosts the aperitif, music and other activities. Castillo Viejo provides the setting for the firework display.
