Festa Major of Sant Quirze del Vallès

The Festa Major turns Sant Quirze del Vallès into a large meeting place for popular culture, music, family activities, sport and community life.

Celebration date

It is usually held around the first Sunday in September and continues for several days. The 2026 edition runs from 2 to 7 September, with Sunday 6 September as its main day.

Where it is held

Events are spread across plaça de la Vila, Parc de les Morisques, Parc de Can Feliu, rambla de Lluís Companys, plaça d'Anselm Clavé, La Patronal, the sports complex and other municipal venues and streets.

Proclamation and local participation

The proclamation formally opens the festival and is joined by a children's proclamation promoted by the children's and teenagers' councils. Cultural, sporting, youth and neighbourhood associations run many events, making the celebration a broad showcase for the town's community life.

A festival for different audiences

The programme combines activities for children, teenagers and older residents. It also provides a breastfeeding and care area, adapted periods at the fairground, Punts Lila and specific safety advice for taking part in the correfocs.
