Our Lady of the Pillar Festivities in Guanarteme
The Fiestas del Pilar in Guanarteme are a neighbourhood celebration combining religious tradition, papagüevos figures, a pilgrimage procession, folklore, galas and concerts.

Around 12 October. The exact dates and programme may vary each year.
Where it is held
Plaza del Pilar and the streets of Guanarteme form the heart of the festival. The pilgrimage procession leaves Calle Pavía and the fireworks take place on Las Canteras beach by the Alfredo Kraus sculpture.
