Las Marías Festival
Santa María de Guía celebrates Las Marías with the Descent of the Branches, folk traditions, Mass, a procession and pilgrimage in honour of the Virgin.

Tradition and venues
The festival preserves the historic vow made by the upland communities of Guía. Branches, conch shells, drums and the pilgrimage bring the participating villages together in the historic centre.
