Monzón celebrates Saint Matthew with a parade, peñas, music, folklore, family entertainment, sport and the patron saint's procession.

The codetazo and peñas' proclamation officially open the festival. On 21 September, the procession and Aragonese Mass in Santa María del Romeral cathedral mark the patron saint's day.
