Épila Patron Saint Festivities
Épila honours San Pedro Arbués and San Frontonio with religious ceremonies, peñas, jota, floats, music, family activities and bull events.
Usual dates
The festivities take place in September. In 2026 the main programme runs from 16 to 20 September, after the queens' presentation on the 12th; 17 and 18 September honour the patron saints.
Where they take place
Events use Plaza de España, the Sala Multiusos, the bullring, local churches, the municipal pools and streets across Épila.
Traditions and atmosphere
The opening proclamation leads into Mass and processions, a jota round, giants and big-head figures, the Wine Route, peña meals, floats, live music and fireworks.
