2026 Volatín of Tudela programme
The 2026 Día del Volatín took place on Saturday 4 April in Tudela. The principal ceremony was held at 10:00 at the Casa del Reloj in Plaza de los Fueros, preceded by its proclamation and accompanied by cultural visits and the Bautizo del Cabezudo.

Saturday 4 April 2026: Día del Volatín
- 09:55: Día del Volatín proclamation by the Hermandad de la Pasión Viviente de Tudela, at the Casa del Reloj in Plaza de los Fueros. It was introduced by the Asociación de Cofradías de Tudela.
- 10:00: Volatín ceremony at the Casa del Reloj, Plaza de los Fueros. After the effigy had spun and shed its clothes, the Orden del Volatín was to throw the traditional balls, sweets and balloons from the balconies.
- 10:00: guided visit to the cathedral, organised by Museo de Tudela, with advance booking.
- 11:00: historical tour from Torre Monreal, visiting the tower and its camera obscura, Casa del Almirante and Palacio de San Adrián.
- 12:00: Bautizo del Cabezudo “Tudelano” in the City Council chamber, organised by the Orden del Volatín; the figure was presented to Comparsa de Artica.
- 18:00: second historical tour from Torre Monreal, following the same cultural itinerary.
Practical information
Plaza de los Fueros was the centre of the celebration. Guided visits required payment and booking through the channels specified by the organisers. For future editions, consult the relevant year's municipal programme.
