Salvatierra-Agurain Livestock Fair 2026 programme
The Salvatierra-Agurain Livestock Fair brings together livestock, agricultural machinery, shepherds' cheeses, crafts, food and Basque products on one of the main days of the local festivities.
Salvatierra-Agurain Livestock Fair. Programme for Tuesday 6 October 2026
- 11 am: opening of the 631st Livestock Fair, including the 17th Basque mountain-horse conformation competition, the 40th Provincial Shepherds' Cheese Competition and displays of cattle, pigs, goats and sheep.
- 11 am: agricultural machinery display and exhibition and sale of crafts, food and traditional Basque products.
- 11.30 am: trikitixa street music by pupils from Agurain Music School around the fairground.
- 5.15 pm: first-category professional pelota match at Agurain Municipal Sports Centre.
- 6 pm: magic with Julen Magoa at the Txosnagune, followed by hot chocolate.
- 7 pm: Xaibor Musika in San Juan square.
