Requena Grape Harvest Festival 2026 programme

The Requena Fair and 77th Grape Harvest Festival run from Wednesday 19 to Sunday 30 August 2026. This chronological selection covers the official programme's central events and venues.

Wednesday 19 August 2026

  • 11:30: festival queens and presidents visit the Centro de Día.
  • 19:00: Círculo Artístico Requenense exhibition opens at Calle Cuesta Carnicerías, 1.
  • 20:30: fair proclamation from the Town Hall, Avenida Arrabal parade, lights ceremony and Acto de Honores.
  • 22:30: traditional music and dance festival in Patio de Armas.
  • 23:30: Michael Legend show in Plaza Juan Grandía.

Thursday 20 August 2026

  • 09:30-19:00: popular domino tournament on the third section of Avenida Arrabal.
  • 18:00: parade and opening of decorated streets in the Peñas and Villa districts.
  • 19:00: FEREVÍN 2026 opens on Avenida Arrabal; official opening and awards at 20:00.
  • 20:30: children's musical in Plaza Juan Grandía.
  • 23:30: Armonía FM musical in Plaza Juan Grandía.

Friday 21 August 2026

  • 11:00-14:30 and 19:00-23:00: FEREVÍN on Avenida Arrabal.
  • 12:00: winning-wines tasting in the Municipal Museum cloister and vermú in Patio del Mercado.
  • 19:00: Medieval Market opens in Plaza del Coronel Ruiz de Albornoz.
  • 20:00: Museo de la Fiesta de la Vendimia opens at Calle Santa María, 41.
  • 20:30: Dorian concert in the bullring.

Saturday 22 August 2026

  • 11:00-14:00: children's festival in Parque de la Glorieta.
  • 11:00-14:30 and 19:00-23:00: FEREVÍN on Avenida Arrabal.
  • 19:00: tribute to the anthem Cantemos a Requena in the Santa María church.
  • 00:30: fireworks on Calle Jaime Juan Castañer.

Sunday 23 August 2026

  • 10:00: Feria del Stock on Avenida Arrabal.
  • 11:00-14:00: children's festival in Parque de la Glorieta.
  • 12:00: Eucharist for the Virgen de los Dolores in Templo del Carmen and vermú in Patio del Mercado.
  • 14:00: mascletà in Plaza Juan Grandía and FEREVÍN closes on Avenida Arrabal.
  • 19:45: lowering of the flag from the Town Hall; Virgen de los Dolores procession from Templo del Carmen at 20:00.

Monday 24 August 2026

  • 10:30: harvesting the first grapes, leaving from Plaza Juan Grandía.
  • 19:00: lowering of the flag and civic procession from Plaza Consistorial.
  • 20:45: fair finale at Monumento Universal a la Vendimia.
  • 21:00: 77th Grape Harvest Festival proclamation at the same monument.
  • 23:00: Eternamente ABBA symphonic concert in Patio de Armas.

Tuesday 25 August 2026

  • 11:00: construction of Fuente del Vino in Plaza de El Portal and the children's monument in Plaza Consistorial.
  • 21:00: Noche de la Zurra begins in the bullring.
  • 22:00: cattle exhibition in the bullring.
  • 00:00: Noche de la Zurra starts near the bullring, followed by a dance in Plaza Juan Grandía.

Wednesday 26 August 2026

  • 13:00: Requenense Ausente tribute in the Santa Cecilia auditorium.
  • 18:30: harvest parade from the Town Hall to Monumento Universal a la Vendimia.
  • 19:00: grape treading, blessing the first must and opening Fuente del Vino; the monuments open afterwards.
  • 21:00: Noche del Cava in Parque de la Glorieta.
  • 22:00: Noche Gastronómica in Plaza Consistorial.

Thursday 27 August 2026

  • 06:07: hot chocolate and start of Rallye Humorístico; challenges continue at different Requena venues during the morning.
  • 18:15: parade of queens, presidents and committees to Teatro Principal.
  • 19:00: Noche de la Fiesta in Teatro Principal.
  • 23:00: historical cultural route from Fuente de los Patos.
  • 00:30: festival dance in Patio del Mercado.

  • 10:00: chess tournament on the third section of Avenida Arrabal.
  • 12:00: committee parade and vermú in Patio del Mercado.
  • 13:00: meal for the town's residential home.
  • 18:00: parade and prizes for decorated streets and squares.
  • 21:00: Noche del Labrador in Plaza Fuente de la Carrera; food at 22:00 and a musical show at 23:00.

Saturday 29 August 2026

  • 09:00: registration for the children's costume display in Parque de la Glorieta; gathering and parade at 11:00.
  • 12:00: vermú in Patio del Mercado.
  • 14:00: mascletà in Plaza Juan Grandía.
  • 18:00: Requena se viste de Fiesta parade from Plaza Juan Grandía.
  • 21:00: Noche del Vino in Plaza del Coronel Ruiz de Albornoz; food at 22:00 and music at 23:00.

  • 10:00: Mass for the Virgen de los Dolores in Templo del Carmen.
  • 10:45: offering of flowers and fruit, with the altar on the fourth section of Avenida Arrabal.
  • 14:30: mascletà in Plaza Juan Grandía.
  • 18:30: grand parade from Monumento Universal a la Vendimia along Avenida Arrabal.
  • 21:00: children's monument is burnt in Plaza Consistorial.
  • 00:00: Fuente del Vino is burnt in Plaza de El Portal, closing the festival.
