Pliego Patronal Festival Programme 2026

The festivities for Nuestra Señora de los Remedios run from 23 August to 19 September 2026. The municipal festival book brings together religious observances, music, culture, sport and community events across Pliego.

Sunday 23 August 2026

  • 19:00: pilgrimage carrying the Virgen de los Remedios from her hermitage to the Church of Santiago Apóstol, accompanied by Grupo de Coros y Danzas Santiago Apóstol and Agrupación Musical Nuestra Señora de los Remedios.

Friday 28 August 2026

  • 22:30: traditional Noche de las Migas, Explanada del Cinto.
  • 23:00: Beni DJ and José García DJ continue the evening, Explanada del Cinto.

Saturday 29 August 2026

  • 18:00: moderate eight-kilometre walk, leaving from the Town Hall entrance, with refreshments at the finish.
  • 22:00: Argarika Fest, school courtyard.

Sunday 30 August 2026

  • 10:00: craft market, Plaza Mayor.
  • 10:00: motorcyclists' breakfast with live music, Jardín de la Glorieta.
  • 20:00: novena for the Virgen de los Remedios, Church of Santiago Apóstol.
  • 22:00: opening address by Lola Montalbán Picazo, followed by Agrupación Musical Nuestra Señora de los Remedios performing “Raíces de España: Ecos de Tradición”, Explanada de la Ermita.
