Our Lady of the Cross Festival 2026 programme

The detailed Escalona del Prado patronal festival calendar contains events from Thursday 3 to Monday 7 September 2026. The booklet cover says 4–8 September, but its developed daily schedule is dated 3–7 September; this page preserves the detailed date printed for each event.

Thursday 3 September 2026

  • 18:30: registration for the X Carrera de Colores, Plaza Mayor.
  • 19:00: X Carrera de Colores Escalona del Prado, Plaza Mayor.
  • 21:30: Cena del Segador, organised by the Asociación Cultural, Plaza Mayor.
  • 23:00: concert by saxophonist Benjamín Dorado; the detailed schedule does not state a venue.

Friday 4 September 2026

  • 20:00: floral offering to Nuestra Señora de la Cruz, followed by the novena, at the chapel.
  • 00:00: parade of peñas and floats; registration takes place on Thursday 3 September. Prizes are announced for floats and the best entertainment display.
  • 01:00: open-air dance with Orquesta Voodoo and bingo during the interval, Plaza Mayor; followed by a DJ set.

Saturday 5 September 2026
