Our Lady of Los Remedios Festival and Librea de Tegueste 2026 programme

The official programme runs from 30 August to 20 September 2026. The feast of Los Remedios, the four-yearly staging of the Librea, float parades and grape-harvest customs take place at different venues across the town.

Sunday 30 August

  • 10:00-14:00: 4th Italian Classic Car Gathering, Los Zamoranos car park.

Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 September

  • 21:00: open-air cinema in Plaza de San Marcos: Sketch. Cuidado con lo que dibujas on Tuesday and Hoppers on Wednesday.

Thursday 3 September

  • 16:00-20:00: veneration of Our Lady of Los Remedios begins and continues through Sunday 6 September.
  • 20:30: transfer and raising of the flag in Calle Prebendado Pacheco, with the Danza de las Flores, Milicia and Agrupación Musical San Marcos Evangelista.
  • 21:30: live music by El Yugo and Coverama in Calle Prebendado Pacheco.

Friday 4 September

  • 17:00-20:00: 28th Histórico de Navegación Turístico Villa de Tegueste, Calle Prebendado Pacheco.
  • 20:30: parade from Calle Prebendado Pacheco and Agrupación Folclórica Teguaco festival in Plaza de San Marcos, with the Danza de las Flores, La Guanchería and A.F. Manteos y Monteras de Zamora.
  • 22:30: Noche Boricua in Plaza de San Marcos, featuring Parranda Los de Siempre, DJ José Brito, a salsa workshop by Academia Ada y Belén, and Sergio Tejera y la Orquesta.

Saturday 5 September

  • 11:00: 1st Tegueste Orienteering Race, Plaza de San Marcos.
  • 15:00: 28th Histórico de Navegación Turístico Villa de Tegueste, Calle Prebendado Pacheco.
  • 21:00: election gala for Reina de Los Remedios and Reina de la Vendimia 2026 in Plaza de San Marcos, featuring Ballet Denébola, Nancy Make up and Zairma.

Sunday 6 September

  • 10:30-13:30: cycling day, leaving from Plaza de San Marcos.
  • 18:00: Reina Infantil 2026 election gala in Plaza de San Marcos, featuring Ballet Denébola, a K-pop tribute and Planeta Komba.
  • Until 20:00: final day of veneration of Our Lady of Los Remedios.

Tuesday 8 September: Our Lady of Los Remedios

  • 11:00-14:00 and 16:00-19:00: inflatables in Plaza de San Marcos.
  • 20:00: solemn Eucharist in the parish church of San Marcos, accompanied by Coral Canticorum Iubilo.
  • Afterwards: procession with the brotherhoods, Milicia de Tegueste and Agrupación Musical San Marcos Evangelista; Chago Melián performs the Ave María during a stop at La Placeta.
  • At the end: fireworks display by Tegueste Town Council and the Barco de Pedro Álvarez.

Friday 11 September: the Librea

  • 21:30: staging of the Librea de Tegueste 2026 in Plaza de San Marcos, followed by a fireworks display by the Barco de Tegueste and Barco de San Luis.

Saturday 12 September

  • 09:00-14:00: 4th Classic Motorcycle Gathering, Calle Prebendado Pacheco.
  • 19:00: Misa del Pueblo in the parish church of San Marcos.
  • 21:00: float parade through the main streets, with Disney characters, bands, fanfares, giants and big-headed figures.
  • 22:30: open-air dance with Orquesta Acapulco and Grupo La Calle, Plaza de San Marcos.

Sunday 13 September

  • 11:00: solemn Eucharist in the parish church of San Marcos with the parish choir; afterwards, a procession with the brotherhoods, Milicia and Agrupación Musical San Marcos Evangelista.
  • 13:00: paella making in Plaza de San Marcos.
  • 14:30: Radio Rumberos FM live from Plaza de San Marcos.
  • 17:00: open-air dance with Grupo Pati, Atenia and Orquesta Olimpia in Plaza de San Marcos.
  • 19:00: float parade and traditional flower battle in Calle Prebendado Pacheco, with comparsas, bands, fanfares, giants and big-headed figures.

Monday 14 to Thursday 17 September: El Lomo-El Infierno

  • Monday 14, 16:00: kiosk opens at the El Lomo sports ground.
  • Monday 14 to Thursday 17: 4th Envite Championship at the El Lomo sports ground.
  • Thursday 17, 09:00: older residents' excursion, departing from Plaza de San Marcos.
  • Thursday 17, 20:00: 11th Habanera Gathering at Teatro Príncipe Felipe, with A.F. Orígenes, Unión Artística El Cabo, Coral Carpe Diem and Coral Canticorum Iubilo.

Friday 18 September

  • 09:00: Vendimia de la Esperanza, organised by AVITE.
  • 18:00: Mass in honour of Virgen de Gloria, El Lomo sports ground.
  • From 20:00: DJ party at the El Lomo sports ground with Queru Nacho, Akhen Enoc and Quidoo Ruben J.R.

Saturday 19 September

  • 16:00: grape-harvest caravan from Los Zamoranos car park towards San Ignacio, including the blessing of the vineyards and a later stop in Plaza de La Padilla.
  • 21:00: open-air dance with Latín Sound and Grupo Atenia, El Lomo sports ground.

Sunday 20 September

  • No time stated: Envite Championship final and trophy presentation, El Lomo sports ground.
