Jerez Grape Harvest Festival 2026 programme

Jerez's Grape Harvest Festival runs from 29 August to 13 September 2026. One exhibition opens on 28 August and other exhibition projects continue afterwards; the grape-stomping ceremony officially opens the festival on 1 September.

Notice: some tastings, routes and workshops require booking, registration or a ticket. The programme may be updated; check the municipal schedule before attending.

Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August

  • Friday 28, 20:00: opening of Jesús Salido's Picadores photography exhibition, first-floor gallery at Claustros de Santo Domingo. It remains open until 26 September.
  • Saturday 29, 09:30-13:00 and 17:30-21:00: 4x4 route through the vineyards of the Jerez district, interpreting the landscape and finishing with an aperitif among the vines. It runs again on other programme dates.

Monday 31 August and Tuesday 1 September

  • Monday 31, 20:30: opening of II Certamen Internacional de Pintura Ciudad de Jerez, Sala De Profundis at Claustros de Santo Domingo; exhibition until 4 October.
  • Tuesday 1, 20:30: grape-stomping ceremony at Reducto de la Catedral, with Banda Municipal, young flamenco performers, María Terremoto and the Andalusian wine-cellar ratting dog. Free subject to capacity.

Wednesday 2 September

  • 14:00: start of Original Xérés, the Vinos que son ciudades: Jerez & Tequila forum, with cultural, musical and food events through 4 September at several venues.
  • 19:00: opening of José María Rojas's Del color y sus razones, Sala El Molino at the Alcázar; open until 27 September.
  • 20:15: start of the Ateneo de Jerez's third Grape Harvest Festival, with exhibitions, routes, tastings, theatre and music at its venues and partner spaces.

Thursday 3 September

  • 12:00: Master Tastings series begins with Bodega Lustau at the Alcázar.
  • 20:30-23:30: Entre Vinos Tintos y Blancos, featuring IGP Tierra de Cádiz still wines and vinos de pasto, Claustros de Santo Domingo. It returns on Friday 4 from 20:30 to 23:30 and Saturday 5 from 12:30 to 15:30 and 20:30 to 24:00.

Friday 4 September

  • 19:00: opening of Juan Vida's Personas, animales y cosas 1988-2025, Sala Pescadería Vieja; exhibition until 10 October.
  • 20:00: seventh Jerez Magic Festival, Sala Compañía, with Jon Zabal and Magic Jose; another session follows on Saturday 5 at the same time.
  • 20:00: children's grape stomping and winery crafts for children aged 4-12, Plaza del Arenal; repeated on Saturday 5 at 20:00, with advance registration.
  • 20:00: La Templanza literary route through streets, squares and buildings associated with nineteenth-century wine-producing Jerez.

Saturday 5 September

  • 09:30-13:00 and 17:30-21:00: 4x4 route through the vineyards of the Jerez district.
  • 11:00: Vendimia 2026 charity gala organised by Yeguada de la Cartuja Hierro del Bocado, supporting Fundación Mornese.
  • 12:00: 21st tribute to William Shakespeare, Parque González Hontoria, devoted to his association with sherry wines.
  • 12:30-15:30 and 20:30-24:00: final day of Entre Vinos Tintos y Blancos, Claustros de Santo Domingo.

Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 September

  • Both days, 12:00-13:00: open days at Consejo Regulador headquarters, ending with a tasting of three wines at Bodega San Ginés; registration required and group size limited.
  • Tuesday 8, 20:30: opening of Rafa Moreno's De lo divino a lo humano, Sala Pescadería Vieja; exhibition until 25 September.

Wednesday 9 September

  • 11:30: free guided visit to Tonelería Páez Lobato to learn how wooden butts used to age sherry are made.
  • 20:00: Cátedra del Vino lecture with José Carlos Capel, Bodega San Ginés; free subject to capacity.

Thursday 10 September

  • 12:00: blind-tasting challenge for teams, Sociedad Jerezana del Vino headquarters and Plaza Silos; continues on 11 and 12 September.
  • 15:00: opening of Jerez Fusión, Flamenco Global Experience, with panels, exhibitions, classes, film and concerts at several venues until Sunday 13.
  • 20:30: De Copa en Copa, a showcase of Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda wines, Claustros de Santo Domingo; continues on 11 and 12 September.

Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September

  • Friday 11, 20:00: 19th National Classic Vespa and Lambretta Scooter Gathering begins, with an outdoor display at Plaza de Abastos and routes on Friday and Saturday.
  • Saturday 12, 09:30-13:00 and 17:30-21:00: 4x4 route through the vineyards of the Jerez district.
  • Saturday 12, 11:30: 11th Children's Venencia Contest, Claustros de Santo Domingo, with age categories and registration.
  • Saturday 12, 20:30: Verbena de la Asunción, gardens of Centro Comercial La Asunción, with flamenco and free admission subject to capacity.
  • Sunday 13, 09:30-13:00: final 4x4 vineyard route of the edition through the Jerez district.
