Holy Christ of Remedies Festival 2026 programme

San Sebastián de los Reyes's official programme includes preliminary events from 20 August and the main festival from 24 to 31 August 2026. This schedule covers the principal confirmed events, with their times and venues.

Thursday 20, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August

Thursday 20, 20:30: Paulino Perdiguero is proclaimed 2026 Personaje del Encierro posthumously, followed by the festival book presentation, Taberna El Foro, Calle de la Paz 4.
Saturday 22, 09:00-21:00: 3-a-side beach volleyball tournament, Eduardo López Mateo sports centre.
Saturday 22, 21:00 and 23:00: Festival Folklóricas with OMIRI and Mercedes Peón, Plaza de la Constitución.
Saturday 22, 22:00: cabestrada from the bullring to the release pens; 22:30, open bullring session.
Sunday 23, 20:30: Toro Run race from the bullring; 21:00, Delameseta, and 22:30, Ethno Spain, Plaza de la Constitución.

Monday 24 August: official opening

19:00: brass-band parade through the old town.
20:30: music hosted by Cristina Boscá, Plaza de la Constitución.
22:00: official proclamation by street-cleaning, waste-collection and parks staff; 22:10, pyrotechnic burst, Plaza de la Constitución.

10:00-13:00: brass-band parade along the bull-run course and old town; 10:30, the Cristo picture is placed at Real and Postas.

21:00: qualifying round of the National Bull-Leaping Contest, bullring; and triduum at San Sebastián Mártir.

Friday 28 August: day of the Santísimo Cristo

11:45: floral offering; 12:00, solemn high Mass with the San Sebastián de los Reyes Choir, parish church.
18:30: presentation of children born during the year, parish church; 19:00, mounted bullfight, bullring.
20:30: auction of the standard, lighting and processional float poles, Plaza de la Iglesia.
21:00: procession through Plaza de la Iglesia, San Roque, Real, Vicenta Montes, Plaza de la Constitución and Calle del Viento; fireworks on its return.

Fairground, accessibility and official sources
