Rianxo Guadalupe Festival 2026 programme

The 2026 Festas da Guadalupe run from Friday 11 to Friday 18 September. Worship, bands, Galician culture, family activities and open-air dances fill Rianxo's squares, streets and waterfront.

Friday 11 September 2026

  • 22:00: Virtual Project Cover Band, Noche Retro.
  • 23:45: festival opening address, organised by Concello de Rianxo.
  • 00:00: chupitaso and musical presentation by the Juadalupeñas.
  • 00:30: 1980s, 1990s and 2000s VideoDJ with Serieb Music.
  • 04:00: open session with Xinho.

Saturday 12 September 2026

  • 10:00: alborada by Banda de Música de Santa Cruz de Ribadulla and a parish alborada with Trícola.
  • 13:00: concert by the Santa Cruz de Ribadulla band, Praza da Igrexa.
  • 14:00: vermouth session with Platinum.
  • 18:00: second concert by the Santa Cruz de Ribadulla band, Praza da Igrexa.
  • 19:00: afternoon music with Zeltia Irevire, Rúa do Medio.
  • 19:30: novena and offerings, Capela de Guadalupe.
  • 20:00: traditional dance and music with Fogo Fatuo, Praza da Igrexa; Certame de Corais with Coral Abraira and guest choirs, Auditorio; and Brass-Ass through the streets.
  • 21:30: Mariachi Perla.
  • 22:30: Platinum orchestra.
  • 23:30: Verbena Sinfónica with Banda da Escola de Música de Rianxo.
  • 02:00: Capitán Sabrosura.
  • 04:00: DJ Nexxa.

Sunday 13 September 2026

  • 10:00: alborada with Agrupación Músico Cultural de Ribadumia and Banda de Gaitas Buxaina de Taragoña.
  • 12:00: solemn Mass sung by Coral Abraira, Capela de Guadalupe.
  • 13:00: traditional maritime procession, supported by the fishers' guild and mussel-growing associations.
  • 18:00: concert by the Ribadumia ensemble, Praza da Igrexa.
  • 19:00: baile-romería with Grupo Arena, Paseo da Ribeira.
  • 20:00: traditional dance and music with Vai de Roda, Praza da Igrexa.
  • 22:00: open-air dance with Galilea and La Banda de Ayer.
  • 00:00: aerial and water fireworks, Paseo da Ribeira.

Monday 14 September 2026

  • 10:00: alborada by Banda de Música Cultural de Arcade.
  • 11:00: visit by the Virgin of Guadalupe to the parish church.
  • 11:30: Juadalupeñas games, Praza Castelao.
  • 13:00: concert by the Arcade band, Praza da Igrexa.
  • 14:00: vermouth session with Unión y Fuerza.
  • 18:00: Festivaliño and concert by the Arcade band, Praza da Igrexa.
  • 20:00: popular songs with Cántañe a Rianxo and Río de Anxo, Praza da Igrexa.
  • 22:00: open-air dance with Unión y Fuerza and Cayenna.

  • 11:00: from alborada to vermouth through the streets with O Son do Río.
  • 12:00: urban-culture Soccer Experience with Vella Escola, Paseo da Ribeira.

  • 16:00: urban-culture VR Arena with Vella Escola, Paseo da Ribeira.
  • 18:30: Día de Padrón and reception for its authorities, with Banda da Escola de Música de Rianxo.
  • 19:30: Banda de Música Municipal de Padrón concert, Campo de Arriba.
  • 20:00: Fanfarria Furruxa through the streets; also a freestyle workshop and Galician-language rap concerts with Ceibarimas and guest artists, Praza da Igrexa.
  • 22:00: open-air dance with Charleston Big Band and La Última Legión.

  • 12:00: Feira do Circo and fair games throughout the day, Praza da Igrexa.

  • 15:00: older residents' lunch and dancing with José Manuel Domínguez.
  • 16:00: Feira do Circo continues, Praza da Igrexa.

  • 19:30: ballroom dancing with El Tomasín, Campo de Arriba.
