Our Lady of the Rosary Festival in La Mata 2026 programme

The 2026 edition brings together the published programme for La Mata, Torrevieja, with the principal day on 2026-10-07.

Saturday 12 September

  • 12:00: Surriagaso opening with brass band, DJ, water party and entertainment.

Sunday 13 September

  • 09:30: pilgrimage departure from the parish church.
  • 11:00: open-air Mass in Parque Eduardo Gil Rebollo.
  • 17:00: pilgrimage return to the church.

Friday 18 September

  • 21:00: Nuestros Jóvenes Mayores intergenerational gathering.

Saturday 19 September

  • 11:30: children's mock bull run from Plaza Gaspar Perelló and foam party in Plaza Encarnación Puchol.
  • 20:45: open-air cinema with popcorn and candyfloss.

Sunday 20 September

  • 07:30: dawn rosary followed by sung Mass.
  • 12:00: Parabares route through La Mata's hospitality venues.

Friday 25 September

  • 21:00: bring-your-own-food community dinner and mobile disco in Plaza Encarnación Puchol.

Saturday 26 September

  • 18:00: floral offering, medal presentation and sung Mass.

Sunday 27 September

  • 10:00: paella competition, inflatables, music, foam party and DJ.

Friday 2 October

  • 18:30: brass band.
  • 22:00: evening concert with Diego Martín and La Playlist de tu vida.

Saturday 3 October

  • 18:00: multicoloured parade.
  • 22:00: evening dance with Orquesta Atenas.

Sunday 4 October

  • 09:00: traditional morning music.
  • 09:30: Mass.
  • 19:30: High Mass, procession and fireworks display.

Monday 5 to Wednesday 7 October

  • parish timetable: triduum in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Wednesday 7 October · Our Lady of the Rosary

  • 12:00: bell ringing.
  • 19:15: Mass in honour of the patroness.
