Aranjuez Mutiny Festival 2026 programme

The Aranjuez Mutiny Festival runs from 2 to 6 September 2026, with historical re-enactments, music, family activities, sport, a Goya-era market and the fairground.

Wednesday 2 September 2026

  • 18:45: official presentation of Real Aranjuez CF at Estadio Municipal El Deleite.
  • 19:30: II Trofeo «Ebro-Aki Río», Estadio Municipal El Deleite.
  • 21:00: performance by Motín del Tajo, winner of the 2026 Concurso de Bandas de Rock La Isla, with Isla's Band as special guests, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 19:00-00:00: fairground; Children's Day with reduced-price rides. Quiet hour from 19:00 to 21:00.

Thursday 3 September 2026

  • 19:00: Aranjuez group Rock con 3, Auditorio Joaquín Rodrigo at C.C. Isabel de Farnesio; €5 admission in aid of AMFA.
  • 19:00-00:00: Goya-era market on Paseo del Jardín de Isabel II, with crafts, food, demonstrations, workshops, face painting and free children's activities.
  • 21:30: opening proclamation by José Luis Salcedo Nieto «Pepín» with ARHES XIX, preceded by the Banda de la Escuela Municipal de Música Joaquín Rodrigo and followed by the firing of the Fresón and Espárrago, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 22:00: Gran Orquesta Atlántida in Plaza de la Constitución, followed by DJ Jorge Gómez and DJ Chechu.
  • 19:00-03:00: fairground. Quiet hour from 19:00 to 21:00.

Friday 4 September 2026

  • 09:00-20:00: Club Balonmano Apóstol Santiago Aranjuez team presentation, Pabellón del CEIPSO San José de Calasanz.
  • 10:00: Encierro Infantil and Boloencierro from calle de Stuart at calle del Real to Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 11:00-14:00: Fiesta de la Familia with workshops, inflatables and a children's show, pedestrian section of calle de la Reina.
  • 11:00-14:00: family session, workshops and English reading by Kids & Us, pedestrian section of calle de la Reina.
  • 11:00-14:00 and 18:00-00:00: Goya-era market, Paseo del Jardín de Isabel II.
  • 13:30: Día del Mayor community paella with music, Pabellón Agustín Marañón.
  • 21:30: Asalto a la Casa de Godoy from Plaza de la Constitución along calles Stuart and Príncipe to Palacio de Godoy.
  • 22:00: Boseido, a Miguel Bosé tribute, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 23:00: La Pegatina, Plaza de San Antonio.

  • 09:00-12:00: guided training for IV Trail Aranjuez «El Peluca», setting off from Parque de AGFA towards Caramillar and the hill.
  • 10:00: Fiesta de los Barrios in La Montaña, Glorieta del Clavel, Las Aves and AGFA, with hot chocolate and churros, inflatables, a brass band, children's activities and a foam party.
  • 11:00-14:00 and 18:00-00:00: Goya-era market, Paseo del Jardín de Isabel II.
  • 13:00: «Tapea sin fin en las Fiestas del Motín» at participating venues, with ten €100 prizes drawn among people who buy from three venues.
  • 18:00-21:00: tardeo with DJ Jorge Gómez, DJ Dani Palacios and Norba DJ, calle de las Infantas.
  • 19:00: 1st Batalla de Gallos de Aranjuez, Parque Pozo de las Nieves.
  • 20:00: flamenco performance by Israel Moreno, Auditorio Joaquín Rodrigo at C.C. Isabel de Farnesio; admission: €15.
  • 21:30: appointment and presentation of the 2026 Amotinado Mayor title to Fundación Reina Sofía, Plaza de Parejas.

  • 18:30: Goya-style bullfight with six Núñez del Cuvillo bulls for Morante de la Puebla, Juan Ortega and Pablo Aguado, Bicentenaria Plaza de Toros de Aranjuez.
  • 21:00: Escuela de Danza La Aurora, Plaza de la Constitución.
  • 23:00: fireworks on the Madrid-Aranjuez road, beside glorieta de Fernando VI.
