Festa Major de Santa Rosalia 2026 programme

Torredembarra holds its Festa Major de Santa Rosalia from 22 August to 6 September 2026. The schedule below covers every event published by the Town Council, including the preliminary programme and the weekend after the patronal day.

Notice: weather, capacity or operational needs may alter the programme. Check the municipal source before travelling. Some activities require a ticket, booking or registration.

Saturday 22 August 2026

  • 18:00, Plaça de la Vila: Dames i Dames, theatrical feminist rap.
  • 18:30, Plaça de l'Escorxador: Seguici Prix 2026.
  • 20:00, Pati del Castell: launch of the fifth issue of La Sínia magazine.
  • 23:00, Plaça del Castell: Remember Jordi's 80 & 90.

Sunday 23 August 2026

  • 12:00, Carrer Ample: presentation and sale of the Santarosi 2026 T-shirt.
  • 12:15, Carrer Ample: La Prèvia de Santa Rosalia, a vermouth session with Xart Deejay.
  • 18:00, from Carrer Gibert: sixth Baixada de Trastos by Nois de la Torre, via Alt de Sant Pere, Plaça de l'Escorxador, Baixada de Sant Antoni and Carrer Santa Rosalia.

  • 18:30, Plaça del Castell to Cal Jan and back: Correbars, ending with the Tocabemolls brass band and then a CATMEX covers concert.
  • 20:00, ZEM football ground: UDT–CE El Catllar Festa Major match.

Friday 28 August 2026: Tronada, opening address and Festa Jove

  • 19:00, Plaça de Mn. Joaquim Boronat: children give up their dummies to the Mulassa and Mulasseta, followed by a route along Antoni Roig, Plaça de la Font, Plaça de la Vila and Joan Güell.
  • 20:30, Plaça del Castell: opening tronada, then Josep Maria Bernad's festival address with sign-language interpretation.
  • 21:30, Espai Sínia de la Vila: Els Pets, Mon DJ and BIG X; doors at 20:30, ticket required.

Saturday 29 August 2026: Malcasats and the major concert

  • 11:30, Carrer Indústria in Baix a Mar: Ball de Malcasats performance.
  • 12:00, Plaça de la Vila: Festa Major vermouth.
  • 18:00 and 19:30, Plaça de l'Escorxador: further Ball de Malcasats performances.
  • 18:30, Plaça de la Vila: Vespreig Trabucat, marking the Ball de Serrallonga's 25th anniversary.

  • 18:30, from Plaça de l'Escorxador: children's Seguici Popular parade through Baixada de Sant Antoni, Santa Rosalia, Gibert, Antoni Roig, Plaça de la Font, Plaça de la Vila, Carnisseria and Freginal; the Santa Rosalia–Gibert section is a quiet stretch.
  • Afterwards, Plaça de l'Escorxador: children's Ball Parlat by the Diables.
  • 22:30, Plaça del Castell to Fundació Pere Badia: Desvetlla dels Gegants, when children may give their dummies to the giants.

Thursday 3 September 2026: Crida and vigil

  • 12:00, Plaça del Castell: public Crida, bells and twelve mortar blasts, then the children's parade via Joan Güell, Plaça de la Vila, Plaça de la Font, Baixada de Sant Antoni, Freginal and Plaça del Castell; a reduced-mobility viewing area is provided by the church.
  • 17:45, Portal de Padrines to Plaça de la Vila: musicians' entrance, followed by a concert by the Seguici musicians.
  • 19:15, Plaça de Mn. Joaquim Boronat: gathering of the Seguici Popular figures.
  • 19:30, from Mn. Joaquim Boronat: vigil parade via Antoni Roig, Plaça de la Font, Plaça de la Vila, Major, Ample and Castell; reserved viewing on Carrer Ample.
  • Afterwards, Carrer Joan Güell: Ball de Gitanes spoken dance.
  • 22:30, Casal Municipal: Festa Major concert by Orquestra Vancouver; 00:00, dancing with the orchestra.

Friday 4 September 2026: Santa Rosalia

  • 08:00, town streets: matinades by the graller groups.
  • 10:15, Town Hall to Sant Pere Apòstol church: the council's procession to the service, led by the Eagle.
  • 10:30, Sant Pere Apòstol church: solemn Eucharist, veneration of the relic, Missa brevis a Santa Rosalia, the Eagle's solemn dance, floral offering and a pillar by Nois de la Torre.
  • 11:00, Plaça de Mn. Joaquim Boronat: assembly and parade for the floral offering.
  • After the service: return procession and Passada de Lluïment in Plaça del Castell, followed by castells and the Diables' Ball Parlat.
  • 19:00, Carrer Ample: special 25th-anniversary Ball de Serrallonga spoken dance.
  • 20:00, Plaça del Castell: Passada del Seguici Popular and Carretillada, followed by Bona nit a les Bèsties to Mn. Joaquim Boronat and the walk to the fireworks.

Saturday 5 September 2026: Sant Adrià

  • 10:00, Baix a Mar beach: 26th Desafiament Santa Rosalia rowing event.
  • 17:00 and 18:30, Cal Maiam: documentary marking 50 years of Nois de la Torre; these are the Town Council's updated times.
  • 19:00, Plaça de Mn. Joaquim Boronat: sardanes with Cobla Reus Jove.
  • 19:30, Sant Pere Apòstol church: solemn Eucharist for Sant Adrià, Torredembarra's co-patron.
  • 20:30, Plaça del Castell: concert marking the Fanfara's 30th anniversary and launch of La Fanfara, de festa en festa.

Sunday 6 September 2026: castells

  • 08:00, town streets: matinades by Grallers dels Nois de la Torre.
  • 12:00, Plaça de la Vila: entrance and Diada Castellera with Castellers de Lleida, Xiquets de Tarragona and Nois de la Torre.
  • 12:30-14:00, Club Marítim Torredembarra: Festa Major Patí de Vela regatta.
  • 19:00, Pati del Castell: presentation of Recull de treballs 24.

Accessibility and safety

On 2 September the Santa Rosalia–Gibert section has reduced sound and no thunder effects or fire. On 3 September there are reserved viewing areas by the church and on Carrer Ample; the 28 August opening address has sign-language interpretation.

For fire events, close doors and windows, retract awnings, keep the route clear, do not smoke near pyrotechnics, maintain a safe distance, follow organisers' instructions, and wear cotton or denim, long trousers, closed footwear and protection for the head and neck.
