Les Borges del Camp Festa Major 2026 programme

The 2026 Festa Major runs from 30 August to 12 September 2026. The Arribada of the Mare de Déu de la Riera on 7 September is the central event.

Sunday 30 August 2026

During the day: 3a Tabalada.
19:30: opening proclamation at the envelat, led by the Comissió de l'Aplec de la Sardana and the Colla de Geganters, Grallers i Timbalers Serè i Marinada for their anniversaries; the Cobla Reus Jove and the gegants Serè i Marinada take part, and the sardana Or borgenc is performed.

11:00: Xalem!, traditional games for all ages, with registration at Poliesportiu El Garrigó.
19:00: ticket sales open for the Correbars.
20:00: Correbars 2026 with a parade, games, the Bufacanyes xaranga and a DJ set afterwards.
21:00: prayer vigil with songs, prayer and reflection at the hermitage.

18:00: Festa Major football match between C.D. Les Borges and l'Hospitalet de l'Infant B at the Estadi Municipal.
21:00: children's Arribada with the youngest diables, setting off from Pont de l'Oriol and plaça de Sant Antoni.

13:00: Tronada in plaça de l'Església, lit by the town's oldest man and woman.
21:30: Arribada procession of the Mare de Déu de la Riera from plaça de l'Església, presided over by Artur Mas, who will read the Parlament de l'Arribada. After the Diables' opposition, the mayor will name the image honorary mayoress and the Cor Parroquial will sing the Salve Regina. Fireworks, entry into the church and the besamanos close the procession.
Afterwards: party at the envelat with DJ Bonkers.

12:00: solemn concelebrated service in the parish church; the Cor Parroquial and Cobla Reus Jove perform Lorenzo Perosi's Missa Pontificalis.
Afterwards: sardanes with the Cobla Reus Jove.
18:30: Vespers and procession.
20:00: Festa Major concert with Orquestra Pensylvania.
23:30: Festa Major dance with Orquestra Pensylvania.

12:00: Mass in honour of Sant Antoni de Pàdua in the parish church.
17:00-20:00: children's inflatables in carrer Verge de Montserrat.
20:30: Pep Plaza presents El Substitut. Com ser tu mateix i no morir en l'intent at the envelat. Advance tickets: €8; box office from half an hour before the show: €10.

17:00: children's balloon modelling, face painting and soap-bubble workshops at Escola Rocabruna.
23:45: official Diada Nacional de Catalunya ceremony in plaça de l'Església, with eleven commemorative rockets and an address by the mayor of Vilaplana, Josep Bigorra i Llauradó, from the Town Hall balcony.
00:30 on 11 September: Banda Neon concert at the envelat, followed by DJ Sorolla and DJ Galex.

12:00: inflatables in the pool at Poliesportiu El Garrigó.
13:00: rice paellas in the espai de les moreres.
17:00: clay-pigeon shooting at Mas d'en Comte, organised by the Societat de Caçadors.
18:00: Festa Major basketball trophy, veterans' match in the Sala Polivalent.
