2026 Fiesta del Pino programme in Teror

The council programme runs from 21 August to 26 September 2026. It brings together religious observances, the romería, folklore, concerts, open-air dances, sport and family activities at venues across Teror.

Friday 21 to Sunday 30 August

  • Friday 21, 18:30 and 20:30: semi-finals of the 58th El Pino Football Tournament, Estadio El Pino.
  • Sunday 23, 10:30-15:00: El Pino Livestock Fair, with demonstrations and folklore, Finca de Osorio; at 10:30 and 12:00, third-place match and football final, Estadio El Pino.
  • Thursday 27, 20:30: final of the 25th El Pino envite card tournament, Calle Real de la Plaza.
  • Friday 28, 17:30-24:00: En Pie Street Arts Festival around the old town; 21:00, opening speech by Luis Peña Quintana, Plaza del Pino; 21:45, Teror Music Band, Plaza del Pino; performances from 23:00, Plaza de Sintes.
  • Saturday 29, 11:00-24:00: En Pie Festival around the old town; 18:00, Veterans' Football Tournament, Estadio El Pino.
  • Sunday 30, 11:00-22:00: En Pie Festival around central Teror.

Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 September

  • Tuesday 1, 12:00: Raising of the Flag, bells and parade, Plaza del Pino; 17:00-20:00, Children's Festival, Plaza de Sintes; 18:00-20:00, opening of the traditional dress exhibition, Tourism Centre, open to 20 September, Monday-Saturday 09:30-16:30.
  • Wednesday 2, 19:00: Gran Canaria traditional dress parade, Alameda Pío XII.
  • Thursday 3, 17:30-19:30: children's and family festival, Alameda Pío XII; 21:00, recording of Tenderete en El Pino, Dominican Convent.
  • Friday 4, 09:00: Army rehearsal, Plaza del Pino; 19:00, Tardeos del Pino with Café de Luna, Parque de Sintes; 20:30, Pinito Fest with Soge Culebra, Bejo, Rodrigo Fénix, Elo Minetti and DJ Airam Vega, Plaza de Sintes.

Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September

  • Saturday 5, 18:30: Rosary; 19:00, Mass; 20:00, Descent of the Virgin, Basilica del Pino. At 21:00, Manuel Carrasco tribute; 22:30, Nena Daconte; and 24:00, Miss Music Band and Aitamy DJ, Plaza de Sintes.
  • Sunday 6: Masses at 08:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00 and 19:00 and Rosary at 18:30, Basilica del Pino; 19:00, Tardeos with Que Chimba, Parque de Sintes; 20:00, poetic offering, basilica; 20:30, Gran Canaria Folklore Gathering, Plaza de Sintes; 23:00, La Previa open-air dance, Plaza de Sintes.

Monday 7 September: romería offering

  • 10:00, 12:00, 20:00, 21:30 and 23:00: Masses, Basilica del Pino.
  • 15:30: romería offering to Nuestra Señora del Pino, from Castañero Gordo to Plaza del Pino, with carts and groups from Gran Canaria's 21 municipalities and representatives of the eight islands.
  • 20:00: Eve open-air dance with Parranda Amasijo, Leyenda Joven, D'Music and Línea DJ, Plaza de Sintes.
  • 24:00: fireworks from the Yánez Matos grounds.

Tuesday 8 September: Day of Nuestra Señora del Pino

  • 07:00, 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 14:00 and 17:30: Masses, Basilica del Pino.
  • 11:00: official reception, Calle Real de la Plaza.
  • 12:00: solemn Mass, Basilica del Pino.
  • 13:00: procession of Nuestra Señora del Pino through the old town.
  • 21:00: Seguridad Social concert, Plaza de Sintes.

8 to 13 September

  • 8-16 September: solemn novena at the basilica: Mass at 12:00, Rosary and novena prayers at 18:30, and Mass at 19:00; on Saturday 12, Rosary and prayers at 19:00 and Mass at 19:30.
  • Wednesday 9, 21:00: Symphonic Rhapsody of Queen, Plaza de Sintes.
  • Thursday 10, 21:00: Cali & El Dandee, Plaza de Sintes.
  • Friday 11: Tardeos with Tata Band at 19:00, Parque de Sintes; 37th Teresa de Bolívar Gathering at 20:00 and open-air dance at 22:30, Plaza de Sintes.
  • Saturday 12, 19:00: 2nd Timple Romería, Muro Nuevo to Plaza de Sintes; 20:00, Teresa de Bolívar Gathering; 23:00, Melendi tribute; 00:30, open-air dance, Plaza de Sintes.
  • Sunday 13, Día de las Marías: Masses at 08:00, 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00 and solemn Mass at 13:00, basilica; Solajero open-air dance at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00; Rosary at 18:30, Mass at 19:00, procession at 20:00 and fireworks at 20:30.

  • Thursday 17, 21:00: presentation of Teror Council honours, Alameda Pío XII.
  • Friday 18: Tardeos with Kilombo Improvisado at 19:00, Parque de Sintes; Las Candelas Band at 20:00, Plaza del Pino; open-air dance at 22:00, Plaza de Sintes.
  • Saturday 19: El Pino weightlifting, 10:00-15:30, Alameda Pío XII; Slot Rally, 12:00-22:00, Los Llanos residents' association; charity cycle ride, 10:00-14:00; Salesian alumni gathering, 11:00; and Canarian open-air dance from 20:00, Plaza de Sintes.
  • Sunday 20: Masses at 08:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00; Rosary at 18:30; Mass and Return of the Virgin to her chamber from 19:00, Basilica del Pino.
  • Thursday 24, 19:00: ornithology session, Teror Tourism Centre.
  • Friday 25 and Saturday 26, 08:00-21:30: 45th Villa de Teror Rally, based in Plaza del Pino.
