Local festivals in Silla

The festivities honouring the Santísimo Cristo de Silla are usually celebrated from late July into the first days of August. Streets and squares host religious observances, music, community gatherings and events organised by the Town Council, the cambreras del Cristo and local associations.

Dances and traditions of the Crist

The Dansa dels Porrots, the Carxofa dance, the enramà de murta and the procession dances form the most distinctive core of the celebration. Dolçaina and tabal music accompanies these expressions, bringing generations together and linking devotion to the Cristo with Silla’s festive identity.

Other celebrations

Fallas brings the municipality’s commissions together around monuments, street parades and shared events. The Sant Sebastià celebration and other cultural and religious occasions complete a calendar closely connected with associations, bands, dance groups and community participation.
