Local festivals in Quart de Poblet
The Passejà de Sant Onofre is usually celebrated over several days around 9 June. Documented since 1723 and officially recognised as a festival of regional tourist interest, this civic procession accompanies the image from the hermitage to the church of the Immaculate Conception amid wheels of fire, gunpowder, music and fireworks.
A shared tradition
The return procession, service, mascletà, market and children’s pujà extend the celebration and help pass it between generations. The Town Council and Amics de la Passejà work with musicians, pyrotechnicians and residents to maintain its distinctive elements.
Other celebrations: Fallas and the September festivities
In March, the Fallas committees fill the streets with monuments, music and fireworks. In September, the major, patronal and popular festivities are joined by Moors and Christians celebrations in a calendar sustained by associations, clavarios and comparsas.
