Local festivals in Puçol

The popular and patronal festivities are usually celebrated from the final Sunday in August until 9 September in honour of the Virgen al Pie de la Cruz. Religious observances, music, community gatherings and cultural and sporting activities take place around the town centre.

Entrà de la Murta and the principal days

The Entrà de la Murta symbolically opens the central days with a procession in which myrtle scents and decorates the streets. The transfer of the image between the parish churches, the offering and the procession express devotion to the patron saint, while 7 September retains a prominent day of bous al carrer.

Other celebrations

The Fallas bring local commissions together in March with monuments, street processions, pyrotechnics, an offering and the cremà. The calendar also includes Sant Antoni, Sant Joan, Santa Marta, the trade fair and Santa Cecilia, sustaining neighbourhood and association celebrations throughout the year.
