The Sant Cristòfor festivities are usually celebrated over several days around 10 July. San Cristóbal parish church and Plaza del Ayuntamiento form part of a celebration associated with the patron saint, bringing together religious observances, festival gatherings and a deeply rooted bull-running tradition.
Mare de Déu de Vallivana and Cristo de la Fe
8 and 9 September are dedicated to the Mare de Déu de Vallivana, patron saint of Picassent, and the Santísimo Cristo de la Fe. The solemn processions reach the Vallivana chapel and are accompanied by a flower offering, parade, music and events organised by local festival associations.
Other celebrations and participation
The fanalets tradition preserves the making and display of lanterns as part of the Vallivana festivities. Confraternities, image bearers, festival associations and musical groups take part in a calendar that connects patronal devotion with the town’s squares, chapel and streets.
