Local festivals in Massamagrell

The Festes Majors are usually celebrated over several days between late September and early October. The cycle honours Our Lady of the Rosary, Jesus and Sant Joan with Masses, processions, a cavalcade, music, bull-related events and communal meals in the streets and squares of the town centre.

Festival groups, clavarios and festive food

Clavarios, festival organisers, local clubs, associations, the parish and the Town Council take part in organising the festivities. Paellas, traditional sweets, street music and neighbourhood gatherings accompany the patronal days and strengthen the celebration's community character.

Other events: Sant Antoni, Fallas and Magdalena

Around 17 January, Sant Antoni brings together the blessing of animals and traditional cauldrons cooked for the community. In March, the Fallas commissions maintain the plantà, street parades, floral offering and cremà. During the first half of August, the Magdalena neighbourhood holds several days of community events, music and popular traditions.
