Local festivals in Villalbilla
The patronal festival of the Santísimo Cristo de la Guía is usually celebrated on 3 May, and its central day brings residents together in Villalbilla's historic centre. Mass is followed by a procession through the streets with the patron's image. The Santísimo Cristo de la Guía Brotherhood organises the events with municipal support and the participation of local residents.
San Miguel, the main festival
The San Miguel festivities last several days in late September and form the largest celebration in the town centre. The programme combines an opening speech, street parades, local club gatherings, music, sports and cultural activities and traditional events in streets, squares and municipal venues. The Town Council and local associations organise a calendar that brings residents from the municipality's different settlements together.
Other celebrations: Corpus Christi and festivals across the settlements
Los Hueros celebrates Corpus Christi over several days in early June, with Mass and a procession alongside community and festive activities. The municipal calendar also includes San Pedro and other celebrations promoted by neighbourhoods and residential areas, where associations, clubs and residents' committees maintain community gatherings throughout the year.
