Valdemoro holds two patronal cycles: Santísimo Cristo de la Salud in early May and Nuestra Señora del Rosario around 8 September. Both combine worship, processions, peñas, music, family activities and bull-running events at venues across the town centre.

Usual celebration and other events

The Cristo de la Salud festival is usually held on the first Sunday in May after the Day of the Cross and links the Santísimo Cristo shrine with Nuestra Señora de la Asunción church. The Nuestra Señora del Rosario festival culminates on 8 September and preserves a devotional tradition documented since the re-establishment of its brotherhood in 1698.
