Usual celebration

The festivities of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación Coronada take place in September and usually last just over a week. The Parish Church of the Assumption, Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Padre Vallet, Plaza de las Américas and the fairground host Mass and the procession, giants and big-headed figures, the opening speech, peñas, bull runs, concerts and children's activities. The City Council organises the programme with brotherhoods, peñas, associations and local bands.

Programme for 2026

The 2026 edition runs from 5 to 13 September. A parade and an opening speech by La Inseparable begin the programme on the 5th; the 6th brings a floral offering, solemn Mass and procession. Concerts by Pignoise, Vanesa Martín, Despistaos, Marlena and Marlon sit alongside the fair, sport, family activities, community gatherings and bullfighting events.

Local public holidays in 2026

The Community of Madrid's Directorate-General for Labour designates 16 July and 7 September as Pozuelo de Alarcón's two local public holidays in 2026.

Other cultural events

Other events in the year-round programme include activity at MIRA Teatro, libraries, municipal schools, exhibitions and neighbourhood events, distinct from the patronal-festival calendar.
