The usual celebration centres on San Bieito in July and the Festas do Cristo, which fill the town centre with events throughout September and into early October. Plaza Arquitecto Antonio Palacios, Domingo Bueno street, Plaza de San Sebastián and the Progreso street car park are key venues.

Traditions and participation
