Local festivals in Gondomar

The San Bieito patronal festivities are usually celebrated over several days around 11 July in the town of Gondomar. Religious events are combined with music, culture, family activities, stalls and fairground attractions in places such as the As Cercas sports complex and the area around the bus station.

Festa da Rosquilla and food culture

The Festa da Rosquilla normally takes place on the first weekend in July and turns this traditional baked product into a local food gathering. Producers, residents and visitors meet in central Gondomar ahead of the patronal celebrations.

Other celebrations in the parishes

The municipal calendar extends across the parishes with Corpus and San Antonio in Mañufe and Vilaza, Santa Mariña and the Curro do Galiñeiro in Vincios, and Santiago Apóstolo in Morgadáns. Pilgrimages, open-air dances and neighbourhood celebrations connect each occasion with the area's chapels, churches and hills.
