Local festivals in San Cibrao das Viñas

San Cibrao das Viñas holds religious and community celebrations in its different settlements. San Roque is a major event in August, while Entroido and San Martiño link the festival calendar to two of the municipality's local public holidays. A large music event in the industrial area has also joined the recent calendar.

Usual celebration

The San Roque festivities are usually concentrated around 16 August in San Cibrao. The parishes and settlements of Ponte Noalla, Santa Cruz da Rabeda, Pazos de San Clodio, Rante, Reboredo and Soutopenedo also maintain their own celebrations, featuring religious services, music, food and neighbourhood gatherings. Ponte Noalla is noted for its floral carpets. The Town Hall, parishes, festival committees and residents participate in organising these events.

Other events

The local cultural calendar also includes Samaín, municipal-library activities, concerts by the town band and walks along the municipality's trails.
