Local festivals in Culleredo

Culleredo's festival calendar is spread across its parishes. O Burgo, Vilaboa, Celas and Castelo host some of the best-attended patronal festivities, while other communities retain celebrations dedicated to San Roque, San Miguel, Santiago Apóstolo, O Carme, San Salvador or San Cosme and San Damián.

Usual celebration

Parish festivities usually last between two and seven days and are organised by their committees with municipal support. Veiga's Entroido has a distinctive identity: the Romaría de San Blas combines Mass and a procession, groups of choqueiros, a communal meal and the reading of O Testamento.

Other events

The Mercado Templario do Burgo do Faro takes place over several days in early July on the O Burgo seafront, with crafts, trade, food, street parades, performances and a children's area.
