The most representative usual celebrations are Los Negritos de San Blas, on 2 and 3 February, and the San Bartolomé patronal festivities around 24 August.
Traditions, duration and places
San Blas centres on the eve and the saint's day. Los Negritos parade through the streets with their dances to pipe-and-drum music, accompanied by the Palotero and linked to the steward's office and religious events. San Bartolomé usually lasts several days and uses Plaza de España, the church surroundings, town streets and venues for dances and popular events.
Local participation
The Town Council, stewards, dancers, musicians, cultural associations, residents, families and visitors participate. The Los Negritos dance is recognised as a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest and is one of the municipality's defining traditions.
Other cultural events
