Local festivals in Xerta
Xerta traditionally celebrates two main festivals: the Sant Jaume summer festivities in July and the Sant Martí Festa Major in November. Both last several days and use the streets, Plaça Major, municipal venues and community spaces, with the Town Council, organisations, associations, families and residents taking part.
Other cultural events
La Candelera, the clotxa lunch and activities run by the Llar de la Gent Gran Sant Martí form part of the social calendar. Xerta Weir, the River Ebro and the town's hydraulic heritage also provide a distinctive setting for the municipal programme.
