Local festivals in Mont-roig del Camp

The Festa Major de Sant Miquel is usually celebrated over several days around 29 September in honour of the town's patron saint. The opening address, giants, music and popular culture fill the streets and squares of Mont-roig del Camp. In Miami Platja, the Festa Major de Sant Jaume centres on 25 July and combines dancing, concerts, vaquetes and children's activities around Avinguda de Barcelona.

Mare de Déu de la Roca

The municipality's patron is celebrated on 8 September with a novena, pilgrimage to the hermitage, Mass, a communal meal and sardanes. The Ball de Coques, a jota documented since 1816 and revived by the Associació de Veïns Muntanya Roja, is one of the day's most distinctive traditions. The Patronat de la Mare de Déu de la Roca and the parish sustain the celebration.

On the first weekend in August, the fair transforms its agricultural origins into a gathering devoted to crafts, food, gastronomy and the local economy. The site on Carrer 1 d’Octubre hosts stalls and food areas, while associations and community groups broaden the festivities with giants, music, dance, sport and family activities.
