Usual celebration
The Festa Major de Roses is held around 15 August, the feast of Santa Maria. Its opening address, barracas, correfoc, concerts, popular culture and family activities take place in Plaça Catalunya, the Teatre Municipal, the streets and several outdoor venues across the town. The City Council, associations and local cultural groups participate in the celebrations.
Other cultural events
The theatrical opening address, correfoc and Dracma de Plata broaden Roses's cultural programme during the Festa Major, alongside the family and music events at the barracas.
