Usual celebration

The main festival is usually held over several days in July around Santa Margarida on 20 July. Central Palafrugell, Plaça Nova, TeMePé, Museu del Suro and other cultural venues host sardanes, concerts, theatre, popular traditions and family events organised by the City Council and local groups.

Other events

The Festes de Primavera take place over several days between May and June, centred on the Carroussel Costa Brava and accompanied by popular dance, gegants, float-building activities and neighbourhood gatherings.
