Local festivals of Lloret de Mar

The Santa Cristina Festa Major is centred on 24 July and takes place over several days across Lloret's streets, squares and seafront. Its regular venues include Roca d'en Maig, Passeig de Jacint Verdaguer, Plaça de la Vila, Museu del Mar, the Santa Cristina shrine and beach.

Maritime traditions come together on 24 July: a sea procession to the shrine, the S'Amorra Amorra llagut regatta and the Ball de Plaça or Dansa de les Almorratxes, performed by the Obrers de Santa Cristina. The dance is held again on Sant Elm's day with public participation. The programme usually also includes parades, correfoc, sardanes, concerts, children's activities, giants and fireworks, involving the Obreria de Santa Cristina, local groups, musicians, families, residents and visitors.
