The Festa Major is usually celebrated over several days on the weekend that includes the first Sunday in September. Plaça de la Vila, the streets and municipal venues host dances, concerts, Barrakes, sporting and family activities, sardanes, giants and a correfoc fire run. The Town Council organises the festivities with local organisations, associations and volunteers.
Sant Menna winter festival
On the weekend closest to 11 November, Sentmenat honours its patron with a festival that usually lasts several days. Bell ringing, a floral offering and mass in Sant Menna church open a programme involving giants, big-heads, gralla players, cultural groups and municipal associations.
