Local festivals in Sant Vicenç dels Horts
The winter Festa Major is usually celebrated around the feast of Sant Vicenç Màrtir on 22 January. The Commercial, Agricultural and Food Show is a central event lasting several days and bringing together local produce, crafts, food, associations and cultural activities.
Summer Festa Major
In July, the summer main festival fills streets and squares with the opening speech, a giants’ parade, correfoc, human towers, sardana dancing, havaneres, dancing and religious events. Community associations and popular-culture groups support much of the celebration.
Other events and places
Plaça de la Vila, Plaça de Narcís Lunes, the church of Sant Vicenç Màrtir and other municipal venues host the principal gatherings. Geganters, grallers, diables, cultural organisations and musical groups take part in the processions and performances.
