Festa Major de La Minerva is usually celebrated for four days around the third Sunday in July. Plaça de la Vila, Ca l'Alfaro park, the parish church, Passeig de Jaume Brutau and the beach host the opening address, bell ringing, a giants' parade, fire run, human towers, concerts, fairground attractions, sports and fireworks. The Town Council, parish, popular-culture groups, clubs and local associations take part in organising it.

Around 30 November, the winter main festival honours the town's patron for several days. The town centre hosts traditional and cultural events, music, family gatherings, a local-produce fair and the religious celebration in the parish church, with the involvement of associations, traders, the parish and residents.

In late June, the maritime neighbourhood celebrates Sant Pere with religious and popular events linked to the memory of local fishers.
