Local festivals in La Roca del Vallès
The usual celebration of the La Roca Festa Major lasts several days around the weekend of 11 September. Streets, squares and public venues in the centre host the proclamation, parades, giants, correfocs, music, communal meals, games and sports activities. The Town Council, Festival Committee, fire and giants' groups, cultural associations, clubs and residents take part in organising the programme.
La Torreta and Santa Agnès de Malanyanes
The municipality maintains a separate calendar in each of its three centres. La Torreta usually holds its major festival over several days in July and Festa de la Creu in spring; Santa Agnès holds its major festival over several days in August and preserves a winter festival and aplec. Squares and community spaces host parades, shared food, fire, music and activities prepared by local organisations.
