The La Llagosta Festa Major is usually celebrated in early September over four or five days. The opening address in Plaça d'Antoni Baqué begins a programme organised by the Town Council, Festa Major Committee and local organisations across the squares, Centre Cultural, Carrer de l'Estació and the fairground.
Giants, fire and festival groups
Parades with giants and big-headed figures, the correfoc fire run and the Homenatge a Catalunya bring together popular culture, music and dance. Local groups and associations organise street processions, communal meals, children's activities and neighbourhood gatherings.
