The Sant Zenon Festa Major is usually celebrated over several days around 9 July. Santa Maria Church, the Riera, Plaça de l'Església, the Calisay and the beach host the service honouring the patron saint, the opening address, Completes, concerts, sardana dancing, a correfoc, giants, sports events, firecrackers and fireworks.
Giants, organisations and folk culture
Tallaferro and Flor d'Alba, Roc and Maria, and Elm and Carmeta form Arenys's family of giants and join street parades with the band, the Geganters and other organisations. The Diables Socarrimats group, cultural associations, clubs, the parish and municipal departments complete a festival that combines tradition, music and local participation.

From 14 to 16 August, Sant Roc renews the town's historic vow and fills the streets with macips, macipes and macipets, giants, music and the Dansa d'Arenys. The La Pesta performance recalls the late sixteenth-century epidemic and devotion to the saint; the night parade and customs passed between generations distinguish a celebration recognised as a Heritage Festival of National Interest.
